Dark
The signature faded look of denim is achieved through a specific washing process, which is why there are different shades such as dark wash, light wash, and medium wash. Jeans that have not undergone this washing process are referred to as raw or dry denim (or dark!) and have a deep, dark colour. One of the benefits of raw denim is that it conforms to the wearer’s shape and becomes unique to them over time. To maintain the dark colour of your denim for as long as possible, it is recommended to only wash it once before wearing it and then to minimise washing it thereafter.
Medium
Medium wash denim is a shade lighter than dark wash denim, meaning it has undergone more washing and drying processes. It is more casual in style and can be paired with a wide range of colours and textures.
